Research and Permission Rates
Rates vary according to the nature of the work and the turnaround time. For most projects, we charge by the hour, but we can also work on a flat-fee basis. If you have a tighter budget, we can discuss how the work could be tailored to fit your budget.
Expenses related to licensing images and text permissions are the client’s responsibility. Vendor invoices will be forwarded to the client.
Estimates
There is no charge for a preliminary consultation (up to one hour); after that a negotiated rate will apply.
Workshops & Presentations
- Lunch and Learn (up to 1.5 instruction hours) $250
- Half Day (up to 3.5 instruction hours) $450
- Full Day (up to 7 instruction hours) $800
Travel expenses are waived if the venue is in the Victoria, Duncan, or Nanaimo areas. Travel to and from Vancouver will be by air, unless accommodation is provided.
