Mary Rose founded MRM Associates in 1999. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and thought, what do I do now? As an avid bookworm, it seemed natural to gravitate towards the book publishing industry. She began her career in-house at Prentice-Hall Canada, then moved to Penguin Books and Harcourt before taking the freelance plunge. Since then she has worked as a freelance picture researcher and permissions editor for many publishers, enjoying the diversity of projects, and the challenge and joy of being part of a team that creates wonderful educational and creative content.
